The crust is in the oven

I thoroughly enjoy making pie dough.  I'm never sure how it might turn out.  I use the same recipe every time.  I follow the same procedures every time.  Sometimes, it rolls out.  Sometimes, I piece it together.  Either way, it provides a receptacle for some pretty amazing flavors. And by the time it's filled, no one knows exactly how it got to be the way it is!  Tonight, it's in preparation for a coconut cream pie to be assembled tomorrow morning.  Milk, sugar, vanilla, eggs, butter, and coconut--with a fluffy meringue on top.  And all because there was something in which to put it.  I like pie dough!  And I love you!
